Sandwich Community Events Association is dedicated to bringing our town to life through exciting and engaging events. So our mission is to boost tourism and support local businesses. We showcase the best of Sandwich’s history, culture, and community.

From festivals and markets to medieval re-enactments, we organise events celebrating everything that makes Sandwich special. So join us and experience the charm of our town, one event at a time!

Main Events

Sandwich Salutes
the 40’s

Come and join us in Sandwich, winding back the clocks to the 40’s! An event for all to enjoy; re-enactments, live entertainment and much more.

Sandwich
Food Fayre

Bringing cuisines from each corner of the globe to the medieval town of Sandwich. There’s something here for every palate – come and have a bite of what’s on offer.

Le Weekend

Say Bonjour to Sandwich… Yes – it’s that time of year when the town centre turns into a French market. Authentic French cuisine, live music featuring French artists, and medieval re-enactments.

Folk & Ale Festival

The festival is a cherished event that celebrates folk music and the art of brewing. It brings people together for a weekend of captivating melodies, flavorful ales, and a lively atmosphere, embodying tradition and community.

Kent 50’s Festival

Fifties Weekend with Live Music, Dancing, Memorabilia, and a Classic Car Show set in the medieval town of Sandwich. Killertone Records working hand in hand with Sandwich Community Events (SCEA).

Sandwich Festival

A weekend dedicated to igniting the historic medieval links to the town of Sandwich. This weekend brings a programme of entertainment, re-enactments, a car meet and much more!

Sandwich Arts Week

A week-long exhibition showcasing over thirty, talented local artists. You’ll find artwork in St Mary’s Church and the Sandwich Medieval Centre. There is also live music in St Peter’s Church Gardens.

Sandwich Xmas Lights

Finally have a weekend to show off Sandwich’s beauty in its festive outfit. Come and watch the parade, count down to the big switch-on, and drink some mulled wine – don’t forget the funfair!
